Bearhouse Double Cream - Light Aran Alpaca Wool - 100 gm

Incredibly fine and lustrous, alpaca fibre is as soft as cashmere and lighter than sheep's wool. It was once reserved for ancient Incan royalty and is still referred to as the 'Fibre of the Gods.' Knitting with our alpaca wool will produce a luxury garment that is lightweight to wear, keeping you warm in winter and cool in summer.

Alpaca wool is hypo-allergenic so doesn't itch and is suitable for most allergy sufferers.

These 100 gm balls (approx 175 meters) were spun by The Natural Fibre Company in Launceston, Cornwall from Bearhouse alpaca fibre.

This colour is also available in 50 gm balls - price £6.40.
